By agreeing to the terms and conditions, you confirm that you agree with this disclaimer in its entirety. Specifically, you understand that Host Security Service (HSS) provided on HUAWEI CLOUD must be used together with a host service to mitigate the invasion risk of hosts, and that the choice to enable or disable HSS is completely your own decision.
1. HSS consists of a server in the protection center on HUAWEI CLOUD and Agent plug-ins installed on your servers. By enabling HSS, you authorize HUAWEI CLOUD to collect necessary information, such as system accounts, OS versions, processes, ports, and system logs, from your servers and upload the information to the server in the protection center. The server in the protection center analyzes the information to provide HSS functions. You can enable or disable an HSS function on the HSS console. If you disable a function, the function will be unavailable to you until you enable it again.
2. HUAWEI CLOUD is responsible for interpreting this disclaimer and has the right to update it whenever necessary. The updated disclaimer will be published together with the service on the HUAWEI CLOUD website and takes effect immediately upon publishing.
