During the GISEC, Wan Tao, Chief Security Expert of Huawei Cloud Enterprise Digitalization and Cloud Transformation, delivered a keynote speech, entitled "A Comprehensive Security System for Global Cloud Customers". Zou Feng, Director of Huawei Cloud Security Governance, delivered a keynote speech, entitled "Redefining Cloud Security Governance in the Digital Era: Governance as Code (GaC)" at the GISEC. He said by integrating GaC into the full lifecycle process of services, Huawei Cloud takes preventative, inspection, and corrective controls at right stages. Huawei Cloud leverages visualized automation tools to configure security policies at scale to keep its services compliant while protecting cloud workloads from ever-growing and ever-changing threats in digital environments.
SecMaster 2.0: Reshaping Secure Operations in the Cloud Era
Cloud security operations face challenges of multi-environment management, exponential increase in complexity and frequency of APTs, and heavy reliance on experts and technical know-hows. To address these challenges, Huawei Cloud launched SecMaster 2.0. Chen Liang, Huawei Cloud Senior Security Architect, stated that SecMaster is a cloud-native, out-of-the-box SOC. It integrates 300+ threat detection models, including 70+ AI fine-tuned ones, 100+ predefined security playbooks, and 10,000 + compliance baselines to enable unified security management of on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud scenarios, accurate threat detection, and automated security orchestration and response.
