Huawei Cloud Leads China's Government Market with No. 1 Market Share in Five Domains

IDC, a world-leading provider of IT market research and consulting services, released several reports recently on China's government cloud market share. According to these reports, Huawei Cloud is No. 1 in term of market share for both government cloud infrastructure and dedicated cloud infrastructure, a ranking that Huawei Cloud has had for many years in a row now. According to another IDC report, China Digital Government Big Data Management Platform Market Share, 2022, Huawei Cloud was No. 1* in China's digital government big data management platform market two years in a row plus No. 1 in two sub-markets: provincial platforms and district/county-level platforms, which further enhanced their leading position in the government market.
According to IDC's research, driven by China's 14th Five-Year Plan and digital government policies, China's digital government market is expected to exceed CNY200 billion by 2026 at a compound annual growth rate of 12%, wherein the investment in government cloud accounts for 73%.

Government customers are seeking to unleash the value of data as a new production factor. Huawei Cloud Stack uses their leading lakehouse architecture, proven privacy computing products, and excellent solution planning capabilities to provide fundamental support and security assurance for authorized operations of public data.
· City governance models
City governance models include Natural Language Processing (NLP), CV, and multimodal models. They can be used to manage the full AI development process, cover almost all AI scenarios, and centrally manage different AI frameworks from multiple vendors. AI development has never been easier.
In Shenzhen's Futian District, an all-in-one platform for quickly handling public requests was established using Huawei's Pangu NLP model. The platform enables the intelligent deduplication of events and incidents reported from all channels, the intelligent dispatch of events and incidents from end to end, and the intelligent analysis of all elements.
· Digital twins for water conservation
Huawei Cloud Stack developed an in-house innovative technical foundation for digital twins. It aggregates water conservation data and provides digital mappings to physical objects. Efficient, precise data processing, analysis, and insights are provided for water conservation projects.
· Smart finance
Huawei Cloud Stack provides integrated finance and financial big data solutions to help financial customers go all-in to cloud and create gPaaS and DaaS services. These solutions enable customers to improve agility, accelerate innovation, and unleash the value of their data.
Huawei Cloud Stack has been chosen by the financial departments of many provinces, like Shaanxi, Jiangsu, and Hubei, to promote digital transformation.
