[Shenzhen, China, March 31, 2023] The latest Huawei Annual Report released today marks 2022 a year of rapid growth for Huawei Cloud, with CNY45.3 billion in global sales. Huawei Cloud aims to become the cloud foundation and industry enabler with Everything as a Service, and has become the preferred cloud for customers in industries such as finance and manufacturing to start their cloud journey.

Accelerate Digitalization with Everything as a Service

For enterprises to go digital, they need to be able to take full advantage of synergy between devices, edge, networks, and cloud. Huawei Cloud helps them do just that, translating Huawei's in-depth ICT expertise into Everything as a Service. This cloud service portfolio offers Infrastructure as a Service, Technology as a Service, and Expertise as a Service to customers, partners, and developers.

In China, Huawei Cloud has delivered more than 700 government clouds, helping more than 150 cities achieve their "One City, One Cloud" objectives. Inspire New Value with Leading Innovation

In 2022, Huawei Cloud grew rapidly alongside developers and partners. Huawei Cloud has launched more than 240 cloud services. Over the past year, the number of Huawei Cloud developers globally increased from 2.6 million to more than 4 million, the number of partners exceeded 41,000, and the number of offerings in KooGallery, our cloud marketplace, grew to over 10,000.

Huawei Cloud never stops innovating. First, Infrastructure as a Service for global accessibility. Huawei Cloud released KooVerse, our global cloud infrastructure, which provides compute, storage, networking, and security services on a single unified architecture. By the end of 2022, KooVerse has 29 Regions and 75 AZs and serves customers in more than 170 countries and regions.

Second, Technology as a Service for easy innovation. Cloud computing is positioned for the software industry. Huawei is taking the technologies, tools, and experience we've built up throughout our own digital transformation process, and making them available on Huawei Cloud for the rest of the world to use. Our users can now modernize their applications with ease using our pipelines: CodeArts for software, DataArts for data, ModelArts for AI, and MetaStudio for digital content.

Third, Experience as a Service for shared excellence. By the end of 2022, Huawei Cloud had released core aPaaS services such as KooMessage and KooMap and scenario-specific aPaaS for seven industries: Industrial aPaaS, Heating aPaaS, Government aPaaS, Mining aPaaS, Education aPaaS, Electricity aPaaS, and Roadway aPaaS. We also launched the KooGallery marketplace. MacroVerse aPaaS has made more than 50 scenario-based cloud services and over 100,000 API services available available, and these have been, and continue to be, widely used in more than 10 vertical industries.

Huawei Cloud also released two new partner frameworks focusing on partner competency: GoCloud and GrowCloud. These frameworks help partners develop their own unique capabilities and create opportunities for business collaboration, in order to ultimately create more value for customers.

In the next steps, Huawei Cloud will build more than 1 million partners, connect more than 10 million developers, and serve more than 10 million enterprise customers, with the aim to become the cloud foundation and industry enabler with Everything as a Service.
